But it would have been more hot if this book had some real emotional scenes, like the weight of Gina’s mistake which caused them gergi stay apart for 20 wasted years comes crashing down on her when she realises they broke up over nothing! And at times it’s intense and uncomfortable for them, and at other times loose and perfect. DanieXJ Oct 23, But is love enough? What do they pick on each other about? For someone who has read some of Gerri Hill’s other works, I was a little disappointed by this long anticipated book.

Google Books — Loading Towards the end I got a bit frustrated with the reasoning the two MCs were still apart. I like both characters, yet I lofe feel it was just a tad unbelieveable.

Have read several of Hill’s cop-suspense novels, but this is my first general romance one. Love Waits by Gerri Hill. I feel like I should have loved this, as gfrri I’m missing something. No current Talk conversations about this book.

The pace of the book is a little slow for my taste and rather than being absorbed by it, I often put the book down; not because I had other things to do, but because it simply got a little boring. At times the novel seemed to drag a bit, and that sometimes pulled me out of the narrative.

Gina had expected to dismiss the possibility as easily as she has during all the years since, but the curiosity is suddenly strong. I know that when we are kids we tend to make things bigger then they are. In romances like this, I usually develop a sort of “fiction ,ove on a character. Well picture this, 10 minutes later and I still have the smile on my face: It did happen out of the blue for her so why lkve she dig deeper t I like some logic in my readings.
