Woodiwiss died back in Roes 19, Vivian rated it it was amazing Shelves: But when description is used without the slightest thought for occasion, thesauruses become the new human brain, the act of making pancakes is woodiiwss to a life and death experience, metaphors are utterly abused, and each tree in a forest is given an individual sentence of description – whether likening it to dark and gloomy skeletons or imposing statues – I draw the line.
It destroyed a scheme that I thought would be a sure success given what I like to read.

One thing that I give Woodiwiss credit for, her decisions on plot aside, is that she has the ability to create brain candy for the reader, where you’re just happy to munch on it and have an escape for a few hours. She died in a hospital on July 6, in Princeton, Minnesota, aged 68, from cancer.
It really was like Beauty and the Beast, where she began with terror but came to realize, gradually, that the one she was stuck with was actually the best for her.
